About me

Advocacy Consultant | Lived Experience Educator | Changemaker

An award-winning advocacy consultant and founder of Brigette Robarge Consulting, dedicated to advancing human trafficking prevention, survivor empowerment, and systemic change.

My journey as a legally recognized survivor has shaped the advocate and leader, I am today. My 20-year journey through commercial sexual exploitation, debt bondage, domestic servitude, forced criminality, and systemic challenges, I reclaimed my freedom and transformed my lived experience into a platform to pioneer education, advocacy, and consulting.

In 2026, I received a full pardon from the Governor of The State of Wisconsin, marking a powerful chapter of restoration, redemption, and new beginnings.

I have trained more than 10,000 professionals, students, and community members on human trafficking and pioneered efforts to advance survivor access to housing, professional training, and policy reform. I serve on the State of Michigan Human Trafficking Health Advisory Board, bringing survivor perspectives to policy and systems-level change.

My work has been recognized with the Rising Phoenix Award, a Challenge Coin from the City of Dowagiac Police Department, and the 2025 Sacred Beginnings Harriet Tubman Survivor of the Year Award.

I use my voice, experience, and expertise to educate, influence policy, empower survivors, and inspire communities to create meaningful change.

My life is not defined by what happened to me,

my life is defined by what I chose to do with it!
